Most of my clients who i physically train, are in their 40s or above. They have very successful personal lives. They have the drive and the discipline. But I always wondered why they would require my physical presence to do their workouts all the time. I had to physically show up for them to do their workouts !

It didn’t take me long to realize these were men who knew exactly what they were doing. They knew after they gave all the energy to their careers and family throughout the day, they don’t have the drive to push themselves to hit the gym (or to design professional programs aligned with their objectives). When they brought me in, they knew when I showed up physically to their premises, they had no choice, but to train.
Understanding your capacity and preparing ahead of time is smart move that makes sure you get the best of what you can and when you realize you can't achieve some goals, you can always preplan and place things in a way that it somehow comes into effect.

This is the exact point most of the younger generations doesn't understand. They overestimate their capacity, promise more than what they can, and end up getting burnt out and having unnecessary feelings of contempt.
Although i always advocated people to experiment and find out the answers on their own (which was my origins since i was kid), I have come to the conclusion later on, that not all people would have the time and luxury to experiment and find the answers. Its better to start with the advice of a good coach to avoid making mistakes that are very costly later on.
I advice the same to all other areas in life. With time you have to understand that you won't be able to do a lot of things because you will have a lot more responsibilities in life. It is okay to delegate and to put other people in places to take care of some of your tasks. If you wait till you perfectly complete each task, a lot of them would not even begin.
